Andrew declared to his parents at age 6 that “he wanted to be like John Travolta when he grew up” and never looked back. At 18, after 12 years of musical theater in Vermont (8 of those studying Modern Jazz and Ballet) he headed to NYC to become a star. 4 months later he booked his first acting job as George Stark in the Bill Murray Richard Dreyfuss Comedy “What About Bob?”. A year later, after being informed by director Frank Oz that the majority of his role had been cut from the final film, Andrew headed to LA undaunted and determination to continue following his dreams. Thanks to hard work, a little luck and a fierce dedication to his craft, Andrew quickly began booking acting roles again… and hasn’t stopped working since.
Andrew’s ability to seamlessly transition from broad-physical comedy to intimate dramatic work has afforded him the opportunity to work on hundreds of projects over the years, working with some of the biggest talents in the industry including Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead), Bill Murray, Uma Thurman, Lasse Hallström (What’s Eating Gilbert Grape), Kevin Spacey, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Mitch Glazer (Magic City), Dana Brunetti (Fifty Shades of Grey), Aldis Hodge, Dean Devlin (Independence Day), John Rogers (The Librarians), Jason Reitman (Juno) and James Mangold (The Wolverine).
Some of Andrew’s credits include recurring roles on Starz’ MAGIC CITY and RENO 911!. As a series regular on MAD TV (where his impressions of Keanu Reeves and Nic Cage are legendary) and as AMI’s cantankerous captain in the cult comedy ROCK JOCKS. Other notable performances include appearances on CRIMINAL MINDS and LEVERAGE, as Nick Trevor in his “Award Winning” web-series THE DIVISION (currently available on Hulu), CONJURER and ‘THE GIFT’ (opposite Uma Thurman, produced by Dana Brunetti & Kevin Spacey). He is the voice of Johnny Cage in WB’s hit MORTAL KOMBAT X, Josh Birk/NyteBlayde in the SAINT’S ROW series and Doc in the STAR WAR: THE OLD REPUBLIC to name a few.
